Dash removal info needed

I will be replacing the veneer dash on my 97 griff 500 soon already got the new dash.
Just a quick questions on the removal, once I have removed the screws holding the dash in and managed to get it partially out is there a multiplug so I can just unplug everything in one go and start the instrument swap over on a bench instead of trying to fiddle about in the car?

Yes, mark them up for re-fitting if it helps.

Us digital camera when taking out dash ,, Just take loads of photos, Doesn't cost anything but always there to fall back on to ref to were wires go...

Dont forget there may be a wingnut holding it behind the left hand dash vent and to the the upper left of it.
I dont know if you have had the dash out before but you should tap the leatehre edges or vasaline them so as the dash doesnt cut it as it comes out.

place the new dash face down next to car when removing the old one,, you can look at the back of new dash it will show were all fixings bolt up.. defo easiest way,, remember loads of photos.
If all goes well you can show the family the pics at christmas dinner sure to impress inlaws...lol

And place an old towel over the tunnel, gear lever area and binnacle to prevent scratching/cutting. The dash panel edges are sharp and before you make any disconnections you'll be looking for somewhere to rest the thing.

Thanks for all the help, managed to get the old dash out without any major problems.
Disconnected the two multi plugs and the dash light switch slid it out and swapped over everything on the dinning table (wife not happy but did put a towel down to stop scratching the veneer/table. Just waiting for the areldite to dry on the switch panel and lights and back it goes in probs tomorrow.
