HI Ed,

www.powerbulbs.com/

I blew a bulb recently and upgraded both to Philips VisionPlus purchased from these guys - still like driving in the glow of a kiddies nightlight, but noticeably improved on the standard bulb.

Doh!
How could I have forgotten so soon!
I purchased the headlight upgrade from
Mr Beer and can now see for more than
1 metre in front of me.

I'm pretty sure its H1 - it's definitely listed in the Bible anyway if you want to check.

H1, VisionPlus should be all the specification you need.

It is a H1. I recently bought the David Beer kit and the Vision plus upgrade. It is whiter and brighter.
Got the bulbs (2 sets so 1 as spare) from Fergusons Of Stirling - couple of quid cheaper than Powerbulbs.

Ed,
Blond moment (no offence Mrs FFG). I got the Osrams as they got a slightly better write up (Auto Express article on Powerbulbs site)than the Philips over longer ranges.
They are: OSRAM Silverstar 55W H1 Headlamp Bulb under the Osram bulbs section, £16.99 for 2.

And a wee caution. When I fitted them I must have knocked one bulb out of its seating while refitting the rubber boot. I only found this out after refitting and sealing the inspection cover, then finding I had one beam halfway up the wall...
