Dash LED's??

Am trying different LED's to replace the expoxied ones on my new dash. Two of them snap fit and two are threaded, size of LED is same as original.

Any opinions? As it's a Pre-cat I can get the chrome rimmed with black surrounds.

I'm with Clive, and think the bottom left looks more original and best.

Then again, bottom right looks like a much bigger LED, is there any difference in brightness?

I went for something very similar to bottom left but mine were aluminium rather than chrome.

All styles are the same brightness, 60cd for red ones 90cd for yellow and 110cd for green, the difference is down to the colour.

Bottom left is pretty much identical to the original recessed LED's but mounted on the dash surface. The bottom right is the same as the plain one at the top but with a nickle plated surround.

They are made by the company I work for.

Note that they're not 12v so they need inline resistors. Also, although they screw into the existing dash holes, they go in a bit too far IMHO. I made some plates a bit like a washer but they are stepped so they locate into the dash hole and push the LED's almost flush (but not quite). Not a big deal but worth fiddling with a bit to get it right.

I think somebody was selling something very similar (if not the same) as an upgrade on eBay with the resistors already attached.
