Brake master cylinder part number?

Does anyone have the part number for a Griffith 500 brake master cylinder?

Mine looks to be leaking a bit, and there seem to be 4 or 5 different ones used on the donor vehicle, so heaven only knows what TVR used...

I was hoping you wouldn't say that... (apart from the bit about the pint )

I think it's from a Fiesta Mk3 XR2i or RS turbo without ABS.
22.2mm cylinder bore and 4x 10mm outlets.

(Please don't buy one of these thinking I'm right if you find this in a couple of years with the search function! I might be wrong)

Dave, had the same problem a few months ago, ended up buying it from tvr car parts, can`t remember how much it cost though.

Dave, it is from a Mk 3 Fiesta and yet there were still about 5 part numbers; the correct one I don't seem able to locate. However, if Mike Virgo's 'TVR Supplies' is still in operation he was by far and away the cheapest option - even cheaper than Ford outlets. This number was at the bottom of my invoice 01594 516857; try that.

Don't know if it equates to a part no as such but mine has the following on a placcie tag hanging round the cylinder body: 6561 8 as/as 23 ae

Have read somewhere that this no can be used by suppliers to match etc

not meaning to contradict you bruce but mine was from the escort panel van replaced it a year ago now, cheap as chips. oh mine is a 500 if that makes any difference

I think you'll find they are similar Ford parts that are most likely interchangable on a TVR.
I bought a 1994 non-ABS Fiesta XR2i master cylinder today. I will let you all know if it fits - the motorfactor is confident it's the right part.
