Folding roof.

Seem to recall a discussion about a Lotus style folding roof for the Griff. Anybody recall who was doing them.

Roger Morris is the guy. He was advertising in the Sprint magazine a while back in the classifieds.

Bought one in the summer and very pleased with it.

Good points
It folds up and releases loads of boot space
It's a lot lighter
It's well made
The struts have threaded eyes on th each end so you rotate them to stretch the roof into place.

Can't think of any specific things I would change about it but a couple of observations
1. I believe the profiles around the windscreen vary a little from car to car so the fit against the windscreen will vary. Mine varies a bit but nothing that I'm too worried about it's secure when in place.
2. The struts that hold the top open as supplied aren't very shiny but a few hours with a polishing wheel sorted that.
3. The struts on mine had been assembled wrongly so the locking collar was on the wrong way round, but Roger sent me a repalcement set by return of post
4. Haven't fully tested the sealing properties in heavy rain yet but the window sealing looks pretty good.

For me it fits all my needs. I've still got the hard top which I may use in Winter. It might seem like a lot of money but I think it's worth it.
