from Edmundo2! Always wanted a Griff, now find myself where I can afford one (I'm having to take a year's sabbatical from racing due to work) and Ed's was too good to resist...

I've joined the TVRCC and got money off the insurance, I'm getting a copy of the Steve Heath bible with the car, I've got full AA cover and am fully prepared to send my salary direct to Shell... anything I've forgotten??

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps! I can't wait to go get it...

I am used to powerful light RWD cars - I've been racing this:

for the last 18 months in the RAF Motorsports Association Race Challenge and a few other places; great fun but unfortunately I'll be leaving my cushy instructional job and going back to fly frontline aircraft next year, so racing is on hold for a while

But a beast of a TVR should keep me smiling while I'm not racing.

Well thats it, my beloved Griffs gone! Gutted but had to free up the garage for a new racer, ( see photo of evil little fecker ).

Frodo - You'll love it. Once you get familarised and find the right road on the right day there's nothing to rival it. Don't forget to buy BB's Griff calander if he has any available, ( see thread on this forum ), as your new toy is featured. I will be keeping my copy as a momento and as a reminder to buy another Griff as soon as space and budget allows.
