pre -griff growl meet up

Ant has suggested a possible griff meet up before the growl, as its such a long time to wait until end of July, so anyone have any worthwhile suggestions?
I`ll start the ball rolling with this idea,

why not pick a date around april may, they are usually double headers, so for those travelling any great distance we could possible camp/ and or b & b for a night, have a good relaxed get together?, hope fully good weather, bar b and a few beers, the odd piss take and general natter.
how about Snetterton, its the first of the double header weekends?
unless someone knows of a better venue, even closer than late in may?

In previous years the TVR Speed Championship have held a round at Gurston Down near Salisbury in April. If they are going in 2010 I imagine it will be April 18th. I don't know if they permit overnight camping for spectators, but I'm sure we could find out.
It is indeed provisionally set for that date at Gurston.Or we could do something around the Chatsworth weekend. We usually park together so there is your mini-meet, then overnight somewhere in the Peak District, Sunday morning breakfast to stave off the hangover then a published run around the Peak District (Cat & Fiddle ish) to a place for Sunday lunch where everyone says their goodbyes and heads for home.
Just another idea I'm chucking into the pot Clive, I don't mind what you organise, I'll be there if I can - just don't pick Easter please.

I did have thoughts of getting some Griff/Chim paintball malarky kicked off down this way (Lizard) one weekend in late spring. Camping over at a place I know and with a couple of other things thrown in. Though we have some good roads it'd be a long drive for some and I canned the idea. Another reason I killed it was that though you can almost guaruntee Griffy enthusiasm for a get together, I just wasn't convinced I'd get similar from owners of other models.

I dont know how you manage on the Island with a TVR! We took our Griff there a few times 
That said I am thinking of coming over next Spring/Summer to compete in a sprint or two
