I don't recall my handbrake cables crossing over.

Mine doesn't / didn't crossover Andy, and that's GKN/LT77 like yours. Can't recall noticing if the later BTR &/ T5 versions are any different at the back end TBH?

PS the red grease for driveshafts (heat resistant) is standing up well on my adjuster - its still nice & free after 5 years.
