TVRs are unreliable

There. Said it. Feel better.

Was at a cocktail party at the weekend and the topic got around to cars, subject got on to sportscars and how unreliable TVRs were...cue me, well I won't drone on cos we all know the arguments. Anyway I finished by saying my Griff had been bombproof and you could keep your boxsters and merx.

So Sunday comes and I'm out for a blast, literally !(icy and snowing) stopped at the supermarket for a paper..back to car, won't start...bo11ocks. Just had the starter replaced with heatshielding so not that starter heat soak prob I had constantly, could hear solenoid so not immob prob and the battery had a good charge hmmm AA time me thinks. Turns out the cable from the battery had sheared off at the starter motor. Good guy.

So there was obviously some bad karma had hit me from that party ! now I'm wary of saying sh1t like that now...lol just messin..... Bring it on...

So it wasn't the car that was unreliable, but whoever fitted the new starter?
