Went to get the Griff (500) out of the garage today and the clutch is biting very low down.

I suspect there is a problem with the hydraulics so looking for a master and slave seal repair kit. Anyone know the part numbers or where I can get them?

Checked on a few of the usual suspects but they only have complete cylinders not the repair kits. Would rather get the repair kits as it's a simple enough job to do once they are out

Purchased a seal kit from e-bay a few years ago. Just make sure that the cylinder bore is not scored.

The same guy is still advertising today, item number is 370305487761

If its any use that master can be re-sealed in situ wink takes about 40 minutes inc bleeding,i have sold 1 kit to a fellow Tivver and it worked out just fine, agree with the above you have to make sure the bore is not scored,i have done 2 Tivs at work at work this way also and had no problems wink in fact mine was the 1st carried out like this over 3 years ago and no leaks since laugh not bad for a tenner outlay and a drop of Dot4 thumbup that Ebay kit listed above is cheaper than i can get them for and its the correct part too biggrin

Thanks - master kit ordered.

Any idea where I can get a slave kit from or a part number? Griff Pages doesn't seem to have any reference.

New slave cylinder is not expensive, seemed a the easier route to me. Not had to do the master yet but can see that may be better done in place.

try Neil at tvr car parts, I replaced the whole master cylinder a while ago, I think it cost me around £50.
