Red Magnecor owners

I've aquired & fitted a set of red Magnecors, what a difference. I must admit that the old leads had seen better days.
Has anyone who has fitted them got any pics which might help re the routing of them? it will also help re connections to the distributor, mine don't look quite right

When I fitted mine - I took off one lead at a time and then matched it to a lead of the same size.

I did find that my coil lead was slightly too short but ACT were superb at getting a slightly longer lead
(for my SEAC !).

are they too fat for the original lead routing clip-in things? If not how do you secure them ?

Just had a set from ACT, they come with new seperators.

Use the ones ACT send - the originals are too hard for the ACT cables. I just clipped them to the originals using those plastic fastener loop things you get from DIY shops

True - but what's the reason for the smaller diameter Y-piece?

tim,any chance of explaining why the joint between the manifolds and the 'y' piece looks restricting? it looks like the start of both 'y' piece pipes should be a larger diameter,ie the four smaller manifold pipes take up more surface area than the begining of the 'y' peice pipes?hope this doesnt sound like im being funny,its just that it stood out to me in the pic.

In fact the collector matches the 4 primary pipes , maybe the picture is misleading ?
