Replacement of "Griffith" badge

I had my car outside for a few months leading up to winter and it killed off the rear "griffith" badge. THe plastic has more or less fallen off and gone pretty opaque.

A quick peek and I'm seeing prices of ~£100 for a badge (Gold Griffith badge), which seems a bit steep. Also I seem to remember reading somewhere that they tend not to last - is this true or my memory playing tricks??

I clearly need one and am just worrying about it. Can someone put me straight, if I just go out and buy one will it last or should I be looking for a particular type/manufacturer?

The Leven ones are good quality as they are resin finished. This also helps to stop the annoying build up of wax for those that wash there cars.

Had a very nice rear leven griffith badge last year,great service and a great product,gotta remember to get the front one done at some point now.
