Headlamp access
Discussion
As had the day off, had a little tinker in the garage. Have replaced the GRP bulb access panels in the front wheel arches with a 5mm waterproof rubber type material, cut to shape. These are held on with around 20 self taping screws & 1" washers, so sealing is no longer needed. What a relief next bulb change!

Sounds good, Tim. Do you know if it's possible to remove the complete headlight unit through this access hole - if I wanted to replace the headlamps can I do it without removing the perspex headlight covers?
I fear not; the light unit is held between the upper and lower halves of the pod.
Does the whole light unit come out from the access hatch? The reason I ask is the inside of my pod is full of dust/crap and I have no idea how it got in there. So as a part of the prep for le mans I was going to replace both bulbs just in case and see if I can give the inside a clean.
