Back to the fold!

Just thought I would say hi, after a very long 18 month break away from TVR I have just bought a Griff 500. This is my fourth and hopefully pockets and reliability permitting a keeper!

I bought the Giallo Fly Yellow 500 from Peter Smith, which from a previous post seemed to heading over to France but I got there first so another one will be staying in the UK!

Just come back from a quick spin and got that silly grin on my face (you know the one) now tucked up in the garage on a trickle charger until the weekend for a proper hoon.

It is in really lovely condition for a 14 year old car with a ton of recent history including a very recent £8k bill for gearbox,clutch and top end rebuild and it pulls like a train!

Will post up some pics when I get a minute probably over the weekend.

Is there still a Herts meet up at what used to be Tudor Oaks on the A1M?

Being fussy I would like to get the Estorils refurbed anyone know a decent local (Stevenage) place that would do a good job or a mobile service?

Neally had to part company with my Griffith last year,but luckily held on to it.I would not like to think of what life would be like without it.

I service my own these days Mark. I was at Peter Smith with a mate looking at the S3 with the body off on the ramp next to yours.

Yes I saw that it came into them as a p/ex against a Griff 500se, I think the chassis was in a bit of a state so it was body off for a refurb, I think they were painting it as well. It should be nice when its done.

Every 3rd Sunday at the Tudor Oaks from 11.30 ish.
