Griff chassis numbers - where can I get the range ?

Hi. Anyone know where I can get the range of Griff chassis numbers?.I've a feeling mine is an early model from the 91 shape. I'd be interested in knowing how early. The number is : SDLDGN.......... Ta

Pretty sure the chassis numbers issued wouldn't have been sequenced per model.
In other words, there may have been V8S cars and even late wedges thrown into the sequence of numbers issued..

When was it registered?

I think they're all over the place weren't Cerberas and Chimaeras all lumped in with the Griff as well?

Don't know about Cerbs and chimps, but I know the Chimp/Griff chassis were registered in batches, and then used ad hock, hence no legitimate numbers of each model produced

There are a couple of old threads that explain how to decode the chassis (/vin) numbers and how the incremental numbers got assigned to chassis as they were welded up.

Give me a shout if you cant find them I can recall rough date and track back in my own profile to find them. .. but then you've failed the initiative test BTW
