Injector cleaning - recommendations please.
I’m having my V8S engine overhauled so it makes sense to have the injectors cleaned. Does anyone have any experience of the many firms out there offering this service. Recommendations welcome please. Thanks.

There are proprietary injector cleaners which you can put in the fuel which I have put in every now and then but I'm not sure if they really do any good so does anyone on here know if there are beneficial at all or just a waste of money - not trying to highjack the post but its all relevant... I think!

Quite a few Garages have injector cleaners , im sure if you rang around a few in your area some one must do it.. I had mine done at Austecs a few years back.

I have a sneaky suspicion that it may be in the same territory as some new injectors........ i could be wrong

New from the states maybe was about half the price when I had them done( a few yrs ago) and of course u can also see if any are fubar'd .

exactly my thinking, as thats where mine came via a third party IIRC.

from memory I think its around £10 each injector.

All I remember is, stay away from anything that promises to clean em via the fuel tank, they need proper setting up after cleaning too to check the spray pattern

Same ones as the 500's I think.....
