Never heard of these.

Says made for the Japanese market and "for off road use only" by which I'm presuming track use not off roading, due to US emmission laws / type approval etc.

Looks a clean car.

Just looks like a standard car to me. I think that the he's made up the name - nat a bad stab either.

I think the Griffith in the PS Gran Turismo series was the 'Blackpool B340' wasn't it? Maybe it was just named that for the Japanese market so that buyers would make the link with the game. It does look just like a standard 500 though.

Well, the other reasoning could be that it's called that in the game because they had that version in Japan. But I must admit I haven't heard of it and it certainly doesn't look anything different from a standard 500.

true but my Badge says 500 Special Edition but it isnt although some say the driver is a special case
