Panel to which wiper motor is attached.

Can’t get in the car to look at the moment, does anybody know if the clamp bolts that hold the wiper motor go right through to the inside or are they captive in the body ? What I really want to know is the panel the motor is mounted on and the panel on the other side above the pedal box double skinned ? I want to drill a small hole either side for a fixing but not if it is double skinned, ideally I want to get a nut on the inside.

Pretty sure its not double skinned. The wiper motor pins go into "nutserts" which I seem to remember being able to see inside when I had the heater box out.

The only double skinning I can recall is the top centre of te wheel arch, but there are several areas around where it looks like separate mouldings are lapped over to join them together? Not sure I'd bank on others experiences ~ TVR might have changed what they do.

You guys might get access to that area from the electric grommet just below? - do you have that access panel just in front of the wiper motor? (Chims have neither BTW)
