Hood restitch by TVR?

Took my Griff down to a main dealer for a hood restitch and they struggled a bit to get it done in time and gave up (two and a half days was all I could spare...).

They suggested I just let the factory do it - has anyone had this done by TVR recently and what was the cost? As I live in the far north east of Scotland the garage said just take the rear section off and post it down, but I'm worried I'll bodge the removal, or that it won't be as good a job off the car.

Any advice, or recommendations of getting a good restitch job done nearer to home?

theres a classic car restoration place in alyth near dundee which i'm sure could do this type of work although when you say far north east i guess your a bit further north than this.www.classicrestorations.co.uk/
