Rear window crease

As the title says really. Has anybody had any luck in removing the creases that the rear winow can get when the top is folded back. I have thought about trying to heat it with a hair dryer to softner the plastic then some how flatten out the crease and hopefully the plastic ' remembers' what shape it was originally.

Any advice is most welcome.

The rear window is stiffer in the cold weather than in summer, however I use Aerospace 303 protectant to clean and soften the screen everytime I wash the car. It really does make the screen clearer and more supple. Another tip is to pull the rear targa section back up once you garage the car rather than leaving it collapsed as that gives the plastic time to 'lose' the creases.

This is the third Griff I've had and with the others I've rarely put the top down and leave it targa mode. This goes for putting it away so the window is always under some tension to prevent creasing. But unfortunatley the previous owner has kept it down and left creases. I'll try the gently heat method and see how it goes - maybe even try heating up two metal plates ( not too hot) and holding them either side of the window.
Thanks for the tip regarding the cleaning as there are some minor scratches and sme blurring of the plastic - I'll give it a try.

That'll guarantee you coming on here and asking for someone who can replace your screen for you.

If you really think you need heat then try a hairdryer on it's lowest setting at leat 6 inches away but nothing too close or in contact.

Cheers for the advice but I wasn't going to use a paint stripper at point blank range. Just very gentle heat to help soften the plastic with plates to help flatten out the crease when it cooled. If it works I'll let you know.

The wifes getting right lazy and the ironing pile is stacking up,ill drop it round for some practice if you like

find mine is nice and pliable once some sun rays have been on there for a few mins,and renovo seems to have helped keep it nice and soft.
