Refurb for a Griff 4.0ltr waterpump (pre-serpentine)

Hi All,

Looking for a bit of advice - does anyone know of companies that do refurb on waterpumps for the older v8 pumps? (or cheap replacements)... these are coming in at silly money at the moment!

Why - just buy a new one.

They are just a land rover part - take a look at someone like famous four for the classis Range rover 3.9

No they are an Sd1 part, only a very few early LR's used that water pump AFIK. Even so you have to chop the nose off as they originally had the viscous coupling on?

Walk in to your local motor factors and ask for a Rover SD1 V8 water pump. You may wish to cut the nose off the pump for the attachment of the fan and coupling on the original car fitment. It’s as simple as that. I did precisely this, last year
