Rear adjuster thread size

Hello chaps, i suspect the rear adjuster threads are picking up, anyone know the thread size so i can run a taps down threads ?

Its the thread through the rear wishbone, its the large thread that the adjuster screws into

It is 1" unf, as Andy says.

Use the old adjuster and very gently tap it with a 1/2 lb hammer as it gets stuck then back it off and repeat. It'll sort it

Tried that, its not getting any better !! where can i get 1 inch unf taps from ? The old adjuster has some fat threads !!, I have a spare adjuster tho

Dunno about the tap but if you get really stuck gimme a shout and I'll sort it for ya, there is a definite knack to thread repairs without a tap

Nige, if you can't get a tap you should be able to get a 'chaser', it's like a sort of thread comb.

Yep its 1"UNF and I have one at the Gaz factory if anybody wants to borrow it.
I also got Gaz to make me 100 adjusters if anybody wants them £4.00 each
