sounds very similar to mine from the sound bite, dont know if its me or not but I always remembered it being a deeper burble on my last cars (been away from the RV8 for 6 years)
Is this the more 'Tractor' sound people refer to that they dont like as much as the deep burble? think someone mentioned cherry bombs in a previous thread??
I do love the sound but wonder if there is a deeper note to be had

IIRC The cherry bomb system is produced and sold only through ACT.
I think your options are:
Standard (something like 2 foot silencer)
Sports (shorthened like Quinny's)
Cherry Bombs (2 small bullet type silencers aroudn 18" or so on each pipe).
Sleeved - Straight through, either with wadding or without depenging on your conversion.
The "tractor" sound is usually the straight through sleeved pipes.
Quinny sounds nice! Definitely perfer it to the straight through sound.

interesting as I thought Quinnys (as mine) sounded a bit more tractor like than my memory of previous RV8 TVRs, must have been my rose tinted hearing aid I think your options are:
