Like your profile comments on your previous Griff ....... "HAPPY TO HAVE HAD ONE BUT NOT AGAIN...." !!
I have a Pre Cat in Mica Red that I am planning to put on the market in the coming months. I had planned to keep it indefinitely however I am going to be quitting my job in June to pursue a business opportunity hence the planned, reluctant sale.
If you are interested, here is a bit of back ground......
4.0 Mica Red, Gas Flowed heads, 38k miles. Sailed through MOT last week with one advisory on a track rod end. I've had it 12 months and in that time off the top of my head i've :
- Replaced Battery and Alternator
- S/S exhaust
- Replaced the majority of the silicon hoses due to ageing
- Air filter cleaned and oiled
- Clutch master cylinder seals replaced
- Replaced the air filter to AFM hose with a silicon version.
- Silicon AFM to plenum hose
- Plug leads
- Steam cleaned chassis
- Dyno'd - smooth power curve peaking at 226bhp, flat torque curve sat around 243 Ftlb
- I've dared to be different and currently have a pair of adhesive white strips ..... still undecided!
I've started on cleaning the chassis & wishbones for a coating of POR-15, something that I am still working on when I get those spare moments.
