tvr power 885 cam initial verdict

Following on from my posts of yesterday re the intial start up, I have today taken the car for a short drive and all I can say is I am amazed!!
On the old 435 it was well behaved and quick, but was obviously down on power a bit due to 5 lobes being worn, but now it is in a different league! Power is instant from 1500 revs and really builds past 3000 (have only gone to just under 5k at the moment, on nowhere near full throttle). I would say that it feels more linear and instant than the 435 but way more grunt.
There is no shunting whatsoever and it is now all I had expected from a 500!
All early days at present, and happy to give more feedback once I put a few miles on it, but so far I am very happy with it.
