Wheels for a Griff

Thinking of some new wheels for the Griff.
Any ideas on sizes and styles?

Be the first to fit 18's on the front and 19's on the rear.

Just do a search in both the Griffith and Chimaera Forums.Been done once or twice before.

you`ll get lots of answers on this one, I went for 17" front and 18" rear, and the handling is so much better!

I went for 17's all round in original width/offsets but lower profile. I've had 18s on a number of cars and never found enough benefit to outweigh the harsh ride and huge price.

My main goal was to find a replacement that achieves the same ET25/ET37 offsets as the original car without resorting to spacers. Team Dynamics and Compomotive both offer products to do this as of course does any split rim design.

just to add, Compomotive will provide wheels in any offset you require, and in 4 stud as well.

Some black or dark grey RL7s would look great on your car (if you could actually find some.)

MO6 is the closest thing to RL7's these days I believe.

image do some nice OZ cross spoke lookylikeys and like Compomotive are flexible on dimensions

Yup, I was extremely hard pushed to decide between the MO6 and the Pro-Race 1.2 wheels for my sort of similar coloured Griff (Midas Halcyon).

Either way a dark graphite colour really seemed to set the car off much nicer than silver.

just received a new set of team dynamics prorace 1.2's in black at very reasoable cost, next get the tyres then fit em. will post photos once complete
