changing a griff 500 from RHD to LHD
Discussion
Hi Paul,
unfortunately the steering configuration for an LHD Griff is impossible to find nowadays, the last couple of years this has really become a hurdle that can't be cleared. It's quite logical as the number of LHD Griffs ever made seems to be around 120 or so, so it's hardly a mass production run.
I do have the contact details of a Dutch guy who is currently trying to get his Griff converted but he has hit a dead end. He is now thinking of having the final pieces manufactured. Your mate might wish to share costs with him to get his own car done, but I have to warn you that it is not going to be cheap, but if he wants to try he can contact me.
Personally, I have looked at RHD Griffs but in the end just succombed to the higher cost of an LHD one. After all, they are also going to be worth more when you sell them on.

A guy from Austria has done it recently but says in the end it costs more or less the same as buying a lhd straight away.
Cheers Jens
