Yup, I have this great plan to get an old RV8 and take it apart to see how it all works (space withstanding).

Along with all the other bits I have to do:

VEMS
Camshaft
Carpets
Doors
Respray mirrors
Bigger brakes

the list goes on and on.......

The best one I've seen is the old classic Range Rover 3.9 with 2/3 content as supplements The Disco (3.9 serp) ones are very basic. It's hard to advise as there are so many reprints..

You can download the Rover workshop manuals and print them off if you want.

I'm not sure the information is really what you want, there is a general description of strip/rebuild on the rover.nl (or whatever its is?) site.

Hmmmm..... I'm pretty au fait with taking engines apart, I just want the most detailed guide I can find. I'd quite like to have a go at my own Cam.
