Braided brake lines

I have been contemplaiting a brake upgrade, I then started thinking about inreasing wheel sizes to accomadate bigger brakes and so the possible bill grows. I have read a couple of places that fitting braided brake lines improve matters (it would certainly be a cheaper option). Does anyone have any feedback on upgraded brake lines please?

definately an improvement using braided lines, the pipes don`t expand like the standard type, and plenty of people supply them as well.

Also upgrade the fluid DOT 5.1

Add EBC GD150 rotors to the list and you won't ever worry about brakes again.
Or having to change the front wheels to bigger ones to get bigger brakes under them either.
