Car wont turnover - have I immobilsed her?

As part of servicing I have recently had the starter motor out and managed to short the battery lead to earth. Nothing dramatic and according to the bible nothing to fuse. However the car now appears to be in an imobilised state - cant turn the alarm on, doesnt appear to be fuelling and will not turnover.
Before I start pulling fuseboards out any advice as to what I may have done and how I would fix it?

Check the 100amp fuse on the chassis near starter motor, you may also have a 2nd one in the foot well loom, so check there.

Did you re-connect the little spade connector on the battery to the right terminal ?

Sorted thanks, reset the alarm by disconecting battery and then after checking all fuses found a poor connection to the solenoid - looks like Chatsworth for me the week end
