Another non-start fault.

It's beginning to drive me a bit crazy

After a few weeks sorting out the previous starting fault, a different starting fault has developed.

Started 1st turn of the key yesterday, tried reversing up a hill and stalled.
Tried to re-start and it wouldnt attempt to fire up or turn over.
I'm sure i can hear the fuel pump primimg (well i think thats what it is!)
Anyway thought sod it and left it for the night.
Came to it today after work and it still wouldn't try and start.
Lights/windows etc all work.
I tried to jump start it anyway and first turn of the key when both leads were attached it burst into life.

Took it on a 30 mile run out and behaved perfectly.

Stopped at home and tried to re-start striaght away and again, nothing.

Damn and bugger.

Any idea's?
Is it my starter motor knackered or something entirely different?

Your battery is knackered, won't hold a charge and needs the kick of the charger to get it to life.

You may want to check your alternator output to make sure that's not at the heart of the issue.

100 Amp fuse may have failed stopping your battery charging.
