Dead Griff

Little bit strange this one, any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Took The Griff for the annual MOT last Saturday, no issues, past with flying colours, parked it up outside and locked it from the keyfob. Went inside to pay my bill and collect the certificate, returned to car and blipped the keyfob as normal and nothing. Keyfob has been a little tempremental over the years as a bit of battery shuffling results with the red LED illuminating and the doors unlocking. On this occassion, bright red LED and nothing at all, tried around different areas of the car and still nothing. After ten minutes or so, opened the alarm fob and changed the battery (always carry a spare) and still nothing.
I was thinking about other ways to get in the car to have it recovered when I pressed the fob once more for good luck and miraculouisly it opened. I quickly jumped in started her up and got back home.
Haven`t tried to start it again since and I am a little concerned if it is going to let me down again, particularly at Chatsworth on Sunday.
Griff is an October 95 and think the alarm is a Gemini (Black fob with two black buttons, fob is about an 1 1/2" square)?
Any help, advice or pointers as to what the problem may be and how to resolve it greatly appreciated.

Drop me an email, there are some issues with the Gemini alarm and it needs resetting from time to time.

Hi,

date of car and fob description would make that a Foxgaurd alarm. Try a search there is a bit on resyncing the fobs in the forums.

Thanks for the Gemini tip, worked a treat. While I was down there I cleaned up the battery terminals and clamps, what a difference! Just shows you have to keep the battery and earths on these cars in top condition.

mx record doesn't exist, though wildfiredesign.co.uk (without the 's') does...
