Later Oil Pressure Switches

Look after them, they might become a bit rare. I've just had a conversation with TVR Power and it sounds like they are going to be made by a new manufacturer. They quoted me 14-16 WEEKS before they will be available . Luckily, Clever Trevor had some in stock.

They're pretty outrageous cost wise now and they do go regularly. Winter project to change to a mechanical driven gauge. Thinking if the Cerberra combined gauge and then getting Speedy Cables to do some work so it fits in with the others and ditch the sender unit.

Is that the oil pressure switch (for the warning light ) or the pressure sensor for the gauge ? Got a switch recently from the local auto factor, went in clutching the old one and got the impression it was a fairly standard part used on loads of things. Cost about six quid I think.

I just bought one from TVR RaceTech and Rimmer brothers had original ones and pattern ones for much less (£5). So I would not panic yet.

It was the guage sender, not the light.

just ordered one too from CT, mine is made by Caerbont, the questions is I sure you can find an alternative but you must make sure the range / scaling from the transducer matches the guage
