To everybody that has helped me with my engine rebuild, a VERY BIG THANK YOU.

bowbowbowbowbowbowbow

I replaced the oil pressure switch today and all is now well (well almost). I did the compulsory (and slightly scary) 20 minutes at 2k+ and gave it a quick test drive.

The only issue now is that it's over-fueling a bit so I've got some investigation to do. but given the amount of stuff I've changed, it shouldn't be a big surprise really, I was over the moon that it started :

Things I've changed :
- Top hat liners and all bearings
- New Stealth cam
- ACT triple plenum
- Ford Yellow top injectors
- Tornado chip
- Bosch AFM and fuel regulator (part of marks kit)
- major wiring tidy-up on the engine loom.

And here it is .....

Thanks everyone. We'll be at the Growl.....although it probably won't look quite so clean and shiney by then.

Ooooo....I do like shiny bits, especially carbon fibre shiny bits. Looking forward to a full report on the difference those mods have made.

Over-fueling sorted - The AFM was not plugged in properly. I can cope with that problem smile

That looks lovely - did you already have the ACT manifolds?

Yes, It was fitting the manifolds that identified my engine problem (a nice clean exhaust port and a porous block) that led to all this work.

It's in the normal place but it's not so obvious because it's a replacement Bosch item and it's black platic. The ACT plenum comes with a different (Bosch) AFM and fuel pressure regulator.
