Shock absorber help

Just had the car on the ramps at work and noticed the front wheels dropped a lot further than the rears. This may be correct I really don't know but anyway I decided to measure the travel on the shocks and found that fully extended they were exactly the same front and rear. So my question is are front and rear griff shocks the same? The car has been checked out by 2 different TVR specialists and one even did a full geometry setup including ride height so I am guessing that they are ok.

They are Avo adjustable shocks. I think that the last owner has put two sets of fronts on. I will give Tim at ACT a call in the morning to see what he thinks. Could do without having to spend £600 on shocks but safety comes first.

All sorted they are slightly longer at the rear but not by much. Thanks for the reply Quinny.
