Front calipers bleed nipples

Like it says on the tin, i'm having a spot of bother removing my bleed nipples and will prob need to mole grip em' to get them out. Only I cant find bleed nipples listed by anyone, hence they are probably a very common ford part i havent been told about!

Most decent motorfactors will sell them individually and be able to match them up .

Have you tried a 6-sided socket on them? Getting a tight fitting socket on is preferable to any kind of grips which might rip the head off IMHO.

Give them one! good sharp blow ( or heavy tap) with a not to heavy hammer on top to shock/free the nipple.
If you simply use a socket you may break them off. using a simple open ended spanner is no good idea as the usual result is a rounded of hexagon as spendy rightly said.

Thanks for the input guys, had closed hex heads on em, impacts all sorts - very stubborn!

They've just corroded away to a very difficult size to apply torque to, may have to mole them yet.

Get an 11mm bleed spanner, it's cheaper than drilling your calipers out!
