V8 engine breather

Hi Guys
can anyone tell me if the breather on the driver side rocker lifts out as the one on the other side or is it threaded?

No, its an interference fit.. The little mushroom can be carefully levered out.

OOppsss LHD is confusing me

Its the big one on the front drivers side bank nor the little one at the rear of the passenger side - thanks quinny - see if I can get the marigolds on!!

anyone know what the thread is on the large breather ?, just had the rockers covers painted and there is some paint in the threads that I need to tap out

My breather is here on the coffee table in the process of being polished.

If it helps, it is the same thread as the oil filler cap.

Get an old filler cap and make a couple of vertical hacksaw cuts in the threaded part so it cleans up the threads as you screw it in.
Screw it in a bit at a time and keep backing it off to clear the crap.
