Wasn't sure if he was referring to his missus or the car in his last sentence.

Are you supprised that it is this cheap ??
I would have thought that the price is as high as you could ask for a Griff needing attention.
Mint pre-cats are around 13grand, when you can find them.

A couple of weeks back I had a call from a bloke who offered me £10.5k for mine. Without looking at it. Just 'will you knock a third off?'. I tried not to laugh and politely declined his offer.

The one at £18K is only a 4.0 too! Must increase the agreed value on my 4.3 again!

What else could you buy for that money with all that reliable performance? Buy them while you can because IMO good precat Griffiths on the up will soon be passing all those unreliable Speed Sixes on their way down. Why? - simple reliability.

No doubt the members of Speed Six Anonymous will curse me for these opinions at their 'Hello my name is John and I'm a Speed Six owner --' meetings.

What do you mean "only a 4.0L"
Can't do any harm to the pre-cat market, although i would be supprised if they get anywhere near that.

Jigs i didn't really intend to wink at you, its just that i thought i should show that i'm not really offended, if you know what i mean.

Just seen the ad for the 4.3... what's really really worrying me is his reason for selling - "two babies..." - we had twin girls about 4 weeks ago
And no, my Griff is NOT FOR SALE.
If it means taking 'em out in it one at a time, so be it. I'M NOT SELLING. NEVER.

In the crowd scene, he's the one at the back, third from the left.
