Anyone with an ACT Cherry bomb or Leven back box in Essex?

Afternoon gents.

I am looking at changing the exhuast on my Griff but as yet I am not sure which one to go for. I have been advised by a number of people to listen to as many combinations as possible before choosing one.

A couple of fellow Griff 500 owners have kindly taken me out in thier cars which I am very grateful for.

Does anyone in Essex or nearby have an ACT Cherry Bomb or a Leven back box fitted to thier car? Also does anyone have the following ACT manifolds with or without Cats:

Hi, I am in Benfleet Essex and have Leven rear exhaust fitted to my Griff 500, very pleased with it. Good tone without being to loud.

My car is not decatted fully & has a ACT cherry bomb system, sounds the nuts.. I live just of junction 4 on m25 so just over the bridge if you want a meet,...stuart g

If I hadn't seen you in your Griff i'd have thought you were just out for passenger rides in as many Griff's as you could blag

What can I say... you caught me out I am not really looking at changing the exhuast, the truth is I just can't afford the fuel for mine so I am blagging passenger rides from other owners

You will be pleased to know that yours is still one of the loudest by far!!!

Maybe slightly late, but I'm just off J5 M25 with the ACT sports exhaust manifolds, no cats and the cherry bomb system.

I know that video very well, I think I have watched it over 30 times. Definately one of the best sounding RV8 TVRs based on You Tube footage. I would love to have a listen for real at some point. PM Sent.

I have the ACT stainless (std looking) manifolds with cones plus the ACT cat 'Y' pipe and cherry bomb exhaust, I am really please with it, I have had them on the car for two years.
Noise wise it is not too obtrusive inside either and I think sounds very good.

I am in the Billericay area, infact I am sure I recognise your car from the last Mid Essex meet.

That is one of the few combinations I haven't had the pleasure of listenning to yet. I would love to have a listen at some point.

I was indeed at the last TVRCC meet. I think I remember your car too. I got there early so I could listen to the cars when they came in and there were a couple of Chimaeras that did sound very good indeed. I meant to catch up with the owners to ask what they had done but I got distracted by the Lambos and before I knew it everyone was out of thier cars and had dispersed.

Are you planning on attending the next Mid Essex TVRCC meet?

Someone told me you changed it back to standard last year

At the last meet I was chatting to a fellow owner and they said that you (Del that is) had standard manifolds and Y piece but with the pre-cats out and the main cat out and also the sleeved back box. Someone else turned around and said that you had recently put the standard back box back on.
