Temperature Gauge Sender

Can someone please tell me where this is on the engine, gauge is not working so want to check this first. Has anyone replaced this?, is it easy to do?.

Tis behind the diff maybe.... or on the front of the engine. It has moved around a bit. Access is a swine though and you may need to remove the dizzy cap and bits to get to it.

Cheers BB. Although it seems to be working now, think it was just so cold last time i went out the gauge didnt move. Boot solenoid has now packed up, maybe the gremlin has just moved
