I think that's starmist and mag. Looks familiar! I think at that price he's got to talk it up.
It doesn't seem unreasonable to me? Only possible downsides I can see are the scruffy seats (a bit surprising for only 20k miles), no PAS, and the roll bar. The brake upgrade is a valuable addition (c. £1k) and the bodywork looks first class - but then it often does in photo's.
How many R reg Griffs can you get (with air-con) for less than £19k?
I have seen the car at Peninsula before and it seemed a well loved good un!. I was looking at the roll over loops (which were done by Peninsula ) but whilst they certainly looked good,I was concerned about both their effectivness in a roll, their proximity to the head(s) and the small loss of legroom as a result of fitting them - I'm not called tiny for nothing!!
So for me,I'm still considering the Tower View solution

its a P reg!
OK OK I can't tell my P's from my R's... I have a 96 P reg so as this is a 97 I just thought R without looking at the reg plate. Doh!
As you're looking so hard for a Griff (so ought to know) - do you think this is over priced?
I think its over priced by about £4K.
Nah not really, thats only because I want it and cant afford it!
If it is as good as it says then I would say that it has been priced correctly for the market.
That is to say that perhaps it is not priced to sell quick so there may be room for negotiation.
Of course if the car is perfect (which it appears to be) then I imagine a dealer would be selling it for a lot lot more and there fore this could be a good deal.
For example, Racing Green have a Griffith up for the same price which is 2-3 years older. I have viewed the RG car and it is pretty much immaculate.
All the above has been written as diplomatically as possible so as not to ruin anyones chances of selling or buying!
BTW: The car is now in the PH classifieds along with a new member! Hello lifethroughalens
Dont forget to check the photography forums as well as all the others.
