Have done all 22 bushes at the front and back wishbones. (Nr. 1276) But there are all together 2 bushes (Nr. 1275) which are different. They come in one piece (the others are in two pieces) and have to be fitted into the rear upper wishbone. Since they come in one piece, I have no idea how to get them pressed into the wishbone. Are there any tricks I should know. Do I need a spezial tool for this bush. Any hint is welcome.
Cheers
Jochen

u shud be able to press it in the vice as said. however if it's the hard red version you cna hacksaw through it to make it two piece. Don't do that on the softer versions though, but if' you're using the softer vesions you're pretty much wasting your time if you're fitting them for beter suspnsion location, they're worse than the tvr bushes! The hard red ones are a fit and forget upgrade though

Hi Julian,

I hoped, you will answer on this topic. As you recommended a while ago, I ordered shore 95 bushes (red ones). The only ones that are purple and seem to be softer than the red ones are the two that come in one piece. So I am not sure, if they are shore 95 and if I can cut them into two pieces. Perhaps I should try a vice before I cut them. Any advice.

hi, the ones in one piece are the only ones i fit in purple, they do go in with a vice press, but it takes a bit of patience ..don't cut the purple ones, they aren't rigid enough to support themselves in the arm if you cut down the middle. The red ones are almost solid and are ok in two pieces, but don't do the smaller rear arm soft ones that way. keep at it, they will go in!!

I fitted these (purple from Joolz) - warmed bushes in boiling water, little silicon spray on end and they pushed in by hand, then used the vice to push in the metal insert (after).

Have tried to fit them by hand, with a vice press, boiled them, used silicon spray, what else. It didn´t work. If the bushes wouldn´t be marked with the right part number (1275) I would say, they are the wrong ones.
I measured the diameter of the wishbone hole (27mm) and the length (30mm).
The bush has also a diameter of 27mm but the length of this area is just 19mm. Then the flanks start by an angle of about 60° to a diameter of 35mm. The total lenth of the bush is 35mm. How can that fit. Have I got a wrong bush?
