Front splitter went off on holiday...
Discussion
Are you referring to the little strip of fibreglass under the nose of the car, or did you use to have a proper race-type splitter?
I did some informal trials on an Hungarian motorway with and without the strip-type splitter. It made no difference to handling or how planted the car felt even up to 150 mph.
It did make about 5 degrees temp difference (on the water temp gauge) when running above 30 mph and I think that is all the splitter was originally designed to do. Of course at low/no speed it makes absolutely no difference to temp.
I attached mine using self-tapping screws. Haven't hit anything to knock it off yet, but it won't last forever.
There was a thread on here detailing some clever home-made options if you care to search. Might save a bob or two.

Check out it's mounted the wrong way round
I'm only posting/viewing on the BB but that looks distinctly wrong even in the small pic. Leading edge should be exactly that, a leading edge, not trailing.
If it works though great, but I don't imagine it has the same effect of disrupting the air flow the original design does, it wouldn't appear to be able to create the low pressure, more smooth the passage of air underneath.
But if it works . . .

YOU may be write but it does help with the cooling Plus after selling my cerb i dont do 175mph plus any more

I found the front splitter really made no ntoiceable difference to high speed running/handling that I could feel and I did check it with and without.
As for cooling and settling the bonnet then it does help a lot, about 10 degrees on average.
The reason I think it work is that it disrupts the airflow by pointing forwards which reduces air pressure under the engine bay and allows faster air coming through the rad/nose of car an easier route out under the car.
But what do I know, I work with beer, which is a different kind of fluid dynamics
I know I'm on my 4th one and wouldn't be without it . .
