I'm not convinced about that. 500 prices seem to be rising* (may be just the coming of spring but when I was looking this time last year average prices seemed to be lower). So HURRY UP!

*obviously pre-cat prices are about to go stratospheric then

Yeah I noticed that rise. I meant all the money Im saving driving a Diesel golf around instead of a 5.0 V8!

Then again I get less smiles per mile in the Golf

(Apart from the fact its quiet, dry and does over 500 miles per tank..... but its also quite dulling on a long journey!)

Yep, agree, I bought mine late winter and prices were low, leave it til there's nice weather and prices will rise significantly IMHO. I noticed this at dealerships, one week almost empty and then a bit of sun and everyone was out.
