Heater fan not working

Hi there, having spent a year in pieces my 4.3 is running again, well the engine is running but not the heater fan. Do you know where it is located on a pre cat car? and how to change it? Cheers James

The heater motor on a precat is located under the N/S headlamp.
Its a headlamp out job to repair/replace...

Have you checked the fuse and speed switch first??

Thanks for that, have had a look there but no fan! any idea where else to look? Have changed the fuse(blown) and tested the switch(working).

It might be you haven't got one or its been resited by a previous owner. Check through the front radiator grill near side edge.

The view above is with the near side h'light pod and leatherette membrane removed and a non-standard air duct fitted.

I also had this problem last year. All it was was the sender in the passenger foot well that neded a bit of a shake and it started working.
