Washer bottle detached

My washer bottle has come off its bracket due to some hard driving.

It has pulled the tube from the side and therefore stopped my windscreen washer working.

Is there an easy way to re-connect the tube?

Seriously - the washer bottle is from a Ford Escort I think - so a visit to your friendly scrapyard might be the best solution to your problem.

The bottle isn't actually broken and I'm able to put in back onto the bracket.

The tube is still connected to the bottle but has come adrift from the pipe behind the wing (usually connected via a small hole in the wing). Although I can push the free end of the tube through this hole, I cannot detect the other pipe its supposed to be connecting to.

I think I know what you mean. You may be able to fish the tube out by removing the drivers side headlamp inspection panel in the wheel arch, If not then you may have to remove the access panel for the purge cannister which is at the front of the engine bay drivers side. The bible tells you how to remove this.
