Seriously, we really do need some volunteers to help out at the Growl this year… and they are, of course, very important people too.

If you can help with any of the jobs listed below, please email me as soon as possible – my email address is [e-mail]. Please state which job(s) you can help with and when you can help out and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I’ll update this post as and when jobs get allocated to volunteers and with details of new jobs that I haven't thought about today.

Car Parking	Saturday am / Saturday pm / Sunday am	Getting people to park in the right place!
Curry	Saturday night	Making sure we don’t leave anyone behind!	Andrea Bennett
Drives Out	Saturday pm / Sunday am	If you can lead a drive out, I can provide maps with detailed routes
Fun Competitions	Saturday / Sunday	Organising something that’s fun to do and will help raise money for Cancer Research by charging an entry fee. There’s plenty of room on the grass behind the bund.
Hog Roast	Saturday night	Generally making it happen!	Paul Bennett / Simon Winter
Rolling Road	Saturday am / Saturday pm / Sunday am / Sunday pm	Making sure people that have booked turn up on time and co-ordinating booking of available slots on the day.
Signs and Cones	Friday pm	Helping to cordon off the car park ready for the start of the Growl.
Sound Test	Saturday / Sunday	Generally choking on exhaust fumes for a bit and recording how loud things are.	Lord Grover (tbc)
Technical Talks	Saturday / Sunday	Co-ordinating and announcing/drumming up punters.
Trader Parking	Friday pm / Saturday am	Getting all the traders into the right positions on the car park	Paul Bennett / Andrea Bennett
Treasure Hunt	Saturday	Drumming up support and setting off/recording times etc. I’ve already got the ‘Hunt’ and can print off the sheets
Welcome Point & Tuck Shop	Saturday am / Saturday pm / Sunday am / Sunday pm	Welcoming people and their cars to the Growl and generally helping out with any queries or problems and selling some tuck shop items (I’m just going to get some crisps/cans of pop/sweet stuff/etc – ie nothing fancy and no sandwiches or stuff like that)	The more the merrier for this job

You can put me down for set up etc on Friday pm guys.

We'll be leaving S.Wales at around 12.30 so should be there early / mid afternoon (depending on what time I get out of work.)

Don't mind helping out pointing people in the right direction parking etc on Friday / Welcome point Saturday am either if needed

Discovered this evening that Laura is working til 1 o'clock on Friday so may be arriving a bit later. Still willing to help out with set up when we arrive though and with meet and greet Friday evening / Saturday morning.

I'll help when I can, but will only be there for Saturday afternoon. I've got a trip round the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight hanger on the Sunday, so won't be staying over.
