I'm back in V8 land

Swapped the Tuscan for a Griffith 500 today and still grinning at the sound of that V8. Shame there was a 50 mph speed limit in the Hatfield tunnel this afternoon.

Not that I am disagreeing, but I would be interested to know why you have gone 'back' to a Griff from a Tuscan, as the natural progression would be the other way.

BB, absolutely the roof was off. The rear section was up though as the garage put it up to check the seat belt anchor points were tightened and I forgot to put it down. I must admit that I used to drive the Chimaera like this when deciding to get a Tuscan to give me the impression of driving with that "roll-over bar".

Starmist, the main reason for the "regression" was that V8 burble. I missed it when I swapped the Chimaera for the Tuscan and have done since. A few weeks back a Griff passed me going the other way when I was in the BMW and the sound just made the decision for me. I guess that is why tapes of whale noises are comforting as they are supposed to remind you of your time in the womb.

DustyC, the car was from Fernhurst (great service) and is number 54 of the last 100. Pictures will be up just as soon as I can.

How are the mods going to the car? Did you stick 2 lines of toilet paper across the length of it to give it that racing look yet?

I had to look at the pic a couple of times to realise what was on the back.
I was thinking "how did he get under that gate post"

I either need glasses or anothe drink and bed.
Since the opticians are closed I'll opt for the later!

Schnozz, I think you may be right. That sounds similar to the owner history I was given. A Tuscan S I believe.
