Griffith gremlins fighting back!!

It seems that my Griffith (probably electrical) gremlins are fighting back as hard as it comes, it was already a few months now since my Griffith 500 had become a marvellous piece of machinery on the streets ...but just last sunday it happened the unbelievable:

While I was running the car (already warmed up) it started to get a kind of cuts out, like if suddenly there was no spark...I revved the engine but after a while it just died, I waited a few minutes and it went on but just for half a minute...then dead again.

I've changed the fuel pump, it started but when warmed up it died suddenly and unexpectedly.

I've also changed the airmeter (larger black plastic Bosch), now it does not even goes on at all...

Do you have any advice to sue my desperation?

I agree with Quinny on this one - exactly the same symptoms as mine when the ignition amp failed.

I thought you've been through all this before and had convinced yourself the loom needed replacing?

Ohhh, one more indication...when the engine starts failing there is a bit of black smoke getting out from the exhaust, a sort of uncombusted fuel smoke...

I gave the job to a professional who went through all the loom and ''cleaned'' it up...maybe I had to be more radical and change the whole thing?
