Did I meet any of you at BTaP?

Apparently I meet Jamer (according to Mungo) but I dont remember it. In fact I didnt remember meeting anyone until I was reminded by those people that spoke to me either prior to the meal or just after it. Shortly after that it all went hazy.

Oh, I remember burrina as he was sat next to us for dinner.

Mungo also told me I met Johno near the bar at VW before Xmas. Did I? I meet so many new faces that day that I have forgotten who they all were.

So who else in here have I met but dont know?
Sorry for my crap memory, I seem to remember everyone by their cars!

Yeah I met you and lent you £100 - when you going to pay it back?

Are you planning on going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed - we could meet up 'again' then - hopefully you'll be in your Griffith by then!

I'll take the £100 as part payment for compensation for all the abuse then!

I live 25 mins from goodwood but wont be at GFoS. I went to the first 4 and got fed up with the crowds after that. The first one was the best. Got to roam the paddock full of supercars and hardly anyone around. Even got to sit in them, including a MacF1.

Anyway, I now go to a custom car show and drag race on Thorney Island in Emsworth (10-15 mins from Goodwood). it lasts 3 days, has all the best stuff (bber, food, cars, smells) and its bloody excellent.

And its only £3.50 to get in or £12 if you camp the whole weekend.
and you can take your car on the drag strip as many times as you like for a fiver!
had some top fuellers as well as all the best yank cars last year. Also drag bikes which were unreal.

I couldn't make it in the end, I was ill on the night. So anything you might have heard is definitely a lie.

hughsie, I remember you and charliewarlie
I think we were chatting before dinner though. Everything was clear at that point.

I remember driving there with mungo and walkinghormone, meeting Ted and Ernest in reception having lunch with the fishes and meeting up with ehalser and slamm. Then I think mel and carzee joined us, scoobyzoom arrived and I then realised most people had gone to get changed.
Had a speedy drunken change into penguin suit whilst Podie shouted obsenities down the walkie talkie to me.
Then before dinner met up with hughsie. Then has dinner with ace-T, judas, burriana, alltorque, mungo and alipali!
After that I remember talking to only domster, iguana and mrtony at the bar. I know I spoke to many others too but this is the stage thats quite blank! I remember meeting rviant, miniman, minimax, wd and pwig at some stage too.
Then at 3:30am I decided to walk around the hotel looking for alcohol. The next memory is opening the curtains to see Johno warming was engine outside my room and thats when I decided I really really liked griffs. on the journey home ali persuaded me to part with the money and get one. (Its been that long since I've been looking!).

Oh, and how could I forget, the fast ride in tony996_hasgone's Diablo the next day!

Been thinking about it all the last couple of days and how long its been since the griff search started. Just felt the need to write it.
